FAQs

What is coaching, and how can it benefit me?

"Coaching is a collaborative and goal-oriented process where a trained coach empowers individuals to unlock their potential, set and achieve meaningful objectives, and navigate personal or professional challenges. Through insightful conversations and tailored strategies, coaching fosters self-discovery, growth, and sustainable change."

How does online coaching work?

Every session is held on Google Hangouts with an invite to a 60-minute video call.

Can I have a free consultation before committing to coaching?

Yes, we will have a 30-minute compulsory call to get to know each other, explain how I like to work with clients and answer any questions.

What is the duration and frequency of coaching sessions?

Every session lasts around 60 minutes and you’ll be deciding the frequency of the sessions (weekly/bi-weekly etc).

Is my information kept confidential?

Absolutely. Everything that will be discussed will stay between the two of us.

What technology do I need for online coaching sessions?

Preferably a computer, but a phone with a camera will work too.

Do you offer group coaching sessions?

For the moment I do not offer group coaching sessions but it’s something I would like to propose in the future. I’m thinking of holding sessions with other fellow coaches.

How long does a typical coaching relationship last?

As coaching is client-led, this will be decided by yourself. Usually, clients have the first 6 sessions to then decide if they want to continue and set new goals.

How do I know if I'm ready for coaching?

I usually suggest having a complimentary session to discuss topics, ask questions and clarify any doubts.

Do you offer ongoing support between sessions?

I’m available on WhatsApp or via email 24/7 with a response time of a maximum of 2 hours.

Can coaching help me with career transitions or job searches?

Due to my background in Recruiting, many clients have decided to start a coaching relationship for this reason. Please also see that I offer advice on this topic. You can find more information in the Advising section.

Can coaching be effective for remote or international clients?

I coach online and globally mindfully considering the different timezones.

How can coaching complement other personal development efforts, such as therapy?

Therapy typically focuses on addressing and healing past emotional wounds, mental health challenges, and unresolved issues, often delving into the root causes of problems. On the other hand, coaching is future-oriented, centered around goal-setting, skill development, and achieving personal or professional objectives. Combining therapy and coaching can offer a comprehensive approach, leveraging therapy's emotional insight with coaching's forward momentum, providing a holistic strategy for individuals seeking both healing and proactive growth. This dual approach can foster resilience, self-awareness, and lasting positive change.
